The Jura Capresso Espresso Machine, A Lot Of Bang For Your Buck!

My dream of owning a professional looking espresso machine comes from my love for all coffee drinks. In my dream, an espresso machine didn’t fit with my small kitchen and large appliances. After doing some research, it looked like my dream might be possible. I found the espresso machine online and found out that the Jura Capresso 13421 ENA4 is only 9.5 inches wide. I was going to be able to make my dream come true without any sacrifices on features or quality.

The variety of flavors and coffee beans are one of my loves, so the Capresso Espresso Machine was a great choice. The strength of my coffee is important, and I am able to choose the coffee beans used (some are stronger, some are not). I’m also able to protect the environment, operating this espresso machine by using the least amount of energy, when I place the machine in the Energy Save Mode. I simply switch on the Energy Save Mode button when the espresso machine is not used much and the minimum amount of energy is used to operate the machine. By turning and pushing just one button, I am able to easily turn on this energy saving feature.

I have also found that programming this espresso machine couldn’t be more simple. It has a Rotary Switch and interactive display so that I can navigate through the programming mode or the automatic cleaning and maintenance program without much effort. I was glad to find that the espresso machine that fit so well into my small kitchen also had such great features all for approximately $799.00. It also looks professional with the Platinum front and top panels and the Ristretto Black side panels.

The espresso maker is equipped with a stainless steel Thermoblock with 18 bars of pressure, is able to clean itself and has the capability to grind, tamp and brew in less than one minute by pushing one button. Other features include a removable water tank, a frother, a conical steel burr grinder and a pre-ground coffee funnel. You can use the rotary dial for programming your choice of amount, strength and temperature of your coffee drink. I have grown to appreciate the versatility and ease of use of the espresso machine, and the 9.5 inch size is also very appealing. In this time of green thinking, the Energy Saving Mode has turned into a very important feature!

It’s been almost 6 weeks since I bought my Jura Capresso Espresso Machine. The size of the machine (9.5 inches wide) and the user friendliness were the reason that I decided to buy this espresso machine. I love the fact that I have complete control over the preparation of my favorite coffee drinks. I like a single cup, above normal strength, 4 ounce cup of coffee, and I have my machine programmed to brew exactly that. All I have to do is pre heat my cup and the machine does the rest. The machine grinds my Lavazza beans at the recommended settings and I’m good to go. I don’t know how I have gone this long without my Jura Capresso 13421 ENA4 Espresso Machine!

7 Steps To Cleaning Your Espresso Machine

Exactly how does one set about eating an elephant? The original response to that question is, “Just one single bite at a time!” Actually, it is the same answer for how to undertake any large task. Taken altogether, it really is formidable. Once you organize it into steps, stages, logical pieces, then you can see how to make it happen, little by little. The individual steps can each be not at all hard, something that’s no problem, that you can do. And when you’ve done every one of the small-task steps, you look back and see that now you have the whole of the formidable-task thing done. It is exactly the same way with how to clean your espresso machine. Here is a way to tackle the formidable task of cleaning your espresso machine, in 7 easy steps.

Step 1. Ensure that the espresso machine is turned off and unplugged before getting started. For this you will need to of course assure that it’s safe to wash the machine given that you will be using water to rinse some of its parts. Failure to do so might cause short circuit and may also cause serious damage to your machine. In addition there’s a chance for you to get electrocuted too.

Step 2. Carefully wipe off the outside part of the machine with a damp cloth. This step will keep you machine look shiny and brand new at least on it’s outside cover.

Step 3. Using a screwdriver, unscrew the group head to take it off. This will then allow you to scrub the various components of the group head, which may include the screen and the brass dispersion plate. Scrub the parts with a brush and plain water until it’s fully clean. Also you can choose to soak these parts overnight in water mixed with an espresso machine cleaner.

Step 4. Backflush the espresso machine, steps on how to do this and how often you should do this is usually in the user’s guide. Typically it should be done about two times a week.

Step 5. With a wet cloth, clean the milk wand. You may also take it off and soak in warm water to be able to remove milk residue. One important point to remember here is to use a pipe cleaner to take out milk residue inside the wand and a pin or paper clip to unblock the steam hole. This will be significant to make sure that no milk residue will be left out, which could cause unwanted smell.

Step 6. Decalcify the interior by running a mixture of one part white vinegar to one part water through the machine. Then run plain water through the machine 2 to 3 times until the interior is clean.

Step 7. Reassemble the machine.

Keep in mind, that you should not put soap in your machine. Furthermore, always make sure you read and adhere to the manufacturer’s instructions on how to clean your espresso machine.

Should you stick to the steps outlined above, over time the enormous elephant of your challenge you faced is going to be “eaten up” and handled. You’ll complete your project, succeed and then benefit from the benefits and fruits of accomplishment and victory! Congratulations on your victory! You took on a big challenge, conquered it and won, one step at a time!
