It seems in today’s world that most adults like to have a caffeine rush first thing in the morning just to get them started. Caffeine can be used just before you decide to have a work out as it can give you a more alert feeling and make you stronger. Caffeine has also been recognized as a pain killer. Many of the popular day to day pain killers available today have a certain amount of caffeine within them.

The down side to caffeine is that you can actually get addicted to it just like many other drugs. As it has an effect on your central nervous system it can trick the brain into becoming addicted to it.

That explains why when people do not get their daily fix of caffeine in the morning they tend to walk around as though they do not know what day it is.

3 days is all it can take to get somebody addicted to caffeine if their intake is quite regular. This makes caffeine just as addictive as many hard core drugs. This is something to think about the next time you are having your morning coffee.

Those who drink coffee regularly have probably thought about this from time to time. If you’re a worrier like I am, you probably end up thinking about it quite a bit more, maybe every day.

Coffee is one of the most widely-used beverages on the planet, with hundreds of millions of people drinking it around the world. It tastes great and provides us with certain benefits, such as a boost in energy from the caffeine contained in it.

Research has shown that drinking reasonable amounts of coffee makes a person feel more aware and focused, leading to increased productivity. If you feel yourself lagging behind at work, you might benefit from drinking a cup of coffee sometime.

It’s clear that coffee can give us a mental boost, but unfortunately it’s still unclear whether it has a positive effect, a negative effect, or no effect at all on physical health. Suffering With Caffeine Withdrawal?-Get Some Tips Here

Truth be told, it seem that everybody responds to food items differently. Some things that stand out in my mind are nuts and assorted nut products. Then there are people who could consume just about anything.

I know for me personally, I have to watch my coffee and caffeine consumption. It seems that I am developing a dependency on caffeine. If I go a long time without drinking caffeine, I get severe headaches. I know for me the caffeine induces many of these, because if I don’t consume my usual cups of coffee, the symptoms increase. What’s going on I thought? Maybe I’m actually addicted to caffeine.

Unfortunately, I don’t know what I would do without the morning cup of coffee, and subsequent caffeine jolt. It seems to really get me going, and I truly believe it’s a habit. Now could I go the day without caffeine. I’m beginning to doubt it.

Unfortunately, my consumption of straight up java in the early hours of the day does not go without its unique effects. Caffeine withdrawal is the newly recognized disorder that is getting a lot of attention lately. I guess I really have to be a little concerned about my excessive caffeine consumption.

Speaking only for myself, I know if I don’t get my caffeine jolt in the morning and throughout the course of the day, I can be a different person. Associates as well as family members say I am a bit “cranky”, and seem to have a short fuse. I tend to disagree, but I am not on the outside looking in.

If it wasn’t for those pounding caffeine headaches I have, and a bit of the jitters, I probably wouldn’t have any side effects at all. But then again, who wants to deal with them all day. So perhaps there is some truth to this “caffeine withdrawal” disorder they have been speaking about.

What we do have to remember is that everybody is different. Caffeine may not bother you as it does me. Checking with a physician is always a good idea if you are having any symptoms. I know for me it would be a tough thing to give up. But if less side effects is a goal, I just might have to concede.

Is It Actually Good To Consume Caffeine?

When we see those two lines appearing that confirm we are definitely pregnant, there are many things that women give up immediately. One of the main ones, and sometimes the hardest, is caffeine. Our several cups in the morning are replaced with something like herbal tea.

This is one of the areas where the old definitely disagree with the young. Tell you older female relatives that you have given up caffeine and they will probably laugh. This is the point where you will get the story about how they consumed gallons of the stuff and their children were all fine. A low birth weight and pre term births have been linked to caffeine, so why take the risk?

Consume more that 300 mg a day and your baby could be at risk. Drink over the recommended amount during your first trimester and the risk of miscarriage is slightly raised.

Drink any more than this recommended amount and their can be a slight risk to your child. The chances of having a miscarriage are also slightly raised if more than this is drunk during the first 3 months.

Yet another good reason for giving up caffeine is the fact that it is a stimulant. This means that it increases your heart rate and can also cause headaches and insomnia. Both if these can put unnecessary stress on your unborn child.

All of us have drank coffee at some time or another to keep us awake, as it is a stimulant. The side effects of this, however, are a raised heart rate, headaches and insomnia.

To sum it up, cutting out caffeine altogether is highly recommended, but if you feel that you still need your coffee, keep to guidelines of 300mg per day or less.

Don’t think that you can still drink the same amount as normal if you change to decaffeinated coffee, as this still contains caffeine and you will go over your 300 mg. Play it safe and do without any altogether.
