Breville BES820XL – Great Machine, The Breville Is Just Right!

When I decided to get my own espresso machine, there were two features that were on the top of my list: First, it had to be simple to use and, second, it had to fit into my budget. I kept both of these features in mind while shopping around and I came across the Breville BES820XL Espresso Machine. This machine has all the great features that you could possibly want from an espresso machine and is available for approximately $489.00, well within my budget. It offers the choice between manual operation and intelligent programming. The custom set programming function works to extract the exact volume of coffee with only the touch of a button. This is great for a novice like me.

A Thermoblock heating system, that permits 3 discharges of hot water into the filter head, is standard on the machine. The discharges of hot water develop an increase in pressure that boosts the espresso pods or coffee grounds so that captured air is cleared away and the espresso machine pulls out additional crema to make an espresso that is creamy tasting and full bodied. The pressure gauge on the face of the espresso machine then directs to above or below Optimum Zone or good or poor homemade espresso. The Optimum Zone, when properly positioned for pouring, allows the coffee drink that is manufactured at optimum pressure to have a rich layer of coppery crema.

Nespresso Espresso Machine – Brings Back Memories Of Italy!

I went away to college and got my first apartment this last fall. The dorm’s creates a lot of distractions and the apartment wasn’t much more expensive. To get started in my college life, a housewarming shower was thrown by my family and friends. I received many nice gifts (and some not so nice gifts). If you enjoy a delicious cup of espresso at home, then this espresso machine is for you. Combining Programmable liquid dosing with present day design makes it possible to prepare the perfect latte and cappuccino easily. The espresso machine uses Nespresso capsules (or pods) to brew mess free coffee. The Auto Frothing Device and the removable 40 ounce reservoir take the guesswork out of measuring and allow you to perfect your technique. There is no one who can’t brew delicious espresso with this machine because of the four button control function.

On the left side of the espresso machine, there is an on and off button to start or stop steaming while the buttons for small and large cup brewing are situated on the right side. I just turn on the machine and the light blinks to let me know it is heating up. At brewing temperature, all four buttons light up. It usually takes about a minute for it to get ready. Then I just lift the lever to open the lid and put the capsule into brewing position with the foil side turned down. The espresso machine starts brewing once I close the lid and select the small or large cup option.

My espresso machine came with a supply of Lungo capsules (7.5 grams of coffee) and espresso capsules (6 grams of coffee). The Nespresso Espresso Machine that I got from my parents is one of the greatest presents that I’ve ever received. When I have trouble getting going in the morning after a late night of studying, it has been my best friend. I also like having the option of preparing many different types of drinks .

Before I got the Nespresso Espresso Machine, my routine was to have a cup of regular coffee at home in the morning and a Latte or Cappuccino after classes from a coffee shop or grocery store. The timing of my parents gift has helped me save a lot of money and has also helped me produce a consistent, inexpensive espresso every time.
