I’ve been drinking what passes for coffee for 30 years now. I’ve had that fancy franchise stuff and I’ve had coffee brewed in a tin pan over an open fire. I drink it black or with a little cream and sugar. I’ve added just about every kind of “medicinal libation” to it that you can add. You name it, from espresso to cappuccino, I’ve had it. I am a hardcore coffee drinker!
I can’t begin to tell you how many coffeemakers I’ve gone through over the years. Each time I get a new one I’m surprised at how much better the coffee tastes. For the first couple of weeks. And then they always start fading out on me. I gradually add more and more coffee to the mix, in an effort to get that coffee zing back, until I’m adding so much coffee I might as well be paying 5 bucks a cup at Starbucks!
About a year ago, I attended a small dinner party. There were 8 of us, if I remember correctly, and at the end of the meal, I offered to help the hostess bring in the coffee. She pointed me in the direction of the cups and as I turned to hand them to her I saw her choosing a selection of these little pod thing-a-ma-jigs. When I asked what she was doing, she told me to be prepared to have the best cup of coffee Id ever had. Then she put one of the pods in the machine and put one, single cup under the brewer. Well, how long was THIS going to take? Who ever heard of making one cup of coffee at a time ” for a group of 8 people!?
Well, not only did we have 8 cups of hot coffee ready to go in a matter of minutes, but each one was a different flavor! This coffeemaker put my old rust-bucket to shame! And it was the best cup of coffee I’d ever had, too. All three! I had to try some of the different flavors, didn’t I? I had Extra Bold, Hazelnut and Butter Toffee and each was a perfect cup of coffee. Knowing that most of the coffeemakers I had been friends with had died out on me after 2 weeks, I asked my friend how long she had had this wonderful machine. Her answer? Well over a year!
The very next day I ordered my first Keurig Coffeemaker. I started off with the Keurig B40 and have since decided that the Keurig B60 is my coffeemaker of choice. Its been on my kitchen counter for a little over 6 months now and each cup of coffee still tastes as wonderful as the first.
One of the features that I like best about the Keurig B60 Single Cup Coffeemaker is that it allows you to brew three different size cups of coffee. Not only is the small size perfect for those mornings when you’re running late for work, but the large size will fill a travel mug. This feature also allows you to adjust the strenght of your coffee. Great for those mornings when you need a little extra help getting out the door!
Another feature that I really enjoy is that the Keurig B60 is always on, always ready to brew that perfect cup of coffee. And because it has a 48 ounce water reservoir, you never have to wait for that warm-up time again.
